Terms of Service
These terms cover the Electrofonic iPhone app and this website, both provided by Superb Meteor LLC.
There is not much to agree to. Electrofonic has no accounts, takes no payment, and runs no service you connect to — the app talks directly to hardware you already own, on a network you already control.
Using Electrofonic
You may use Electrofonic for anything lawful. Please don’t use it to interfere with equipment that isn’t yours, or on networks you don’t have permission to be on.
What you need
The app requires an iPhone running iOS 17 or later and a supported multizone amplifier reachable on your local network. We don’t sell the amplifier, and we aren’t affiliated with the companies that do. Model names appear here only to describe what the app works with.
No warranty
Electrofonic is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We don’t promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every amplifier, firmware revision, or network.
Electrofonic controls audio equipment. It can turn zones on, change sources, and change volume. Use it with the same judgment you would use on the amplifier’s own front panel, and don’t rely on it where an unexpected volume change would cause harm.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Superb Meteor LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Electrofonic, including damage to equipment, loss of data, or loss of use.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
